catchlight (2026–)

Catchlights capture how I think light might feel: ethereal, grainy and heavy like sand, and just slightly colorful, right at the edges. Instead of using just my hands as in my other work, I arrange clear and reflective materials in sequence to twist and distort the light before it is captured by a camera sensor.
