etherealite.

Etherealites are false forms made entirely from light. Instead of using lenses, the artist shapes and filters the light by hand to control its intensity before it strikes the exposed camera sensor. During processing, patterns and structures emerge that resemble the forms of cells, wings, or waves.

In making 'objects' from the light itself, each Etherealite is as close as possible to a pure act of creation.
