firstlight (2026–)

Firstlights are bare-sensor photographs made with light filtered through clear and smoky quartz, and are my imagining of what the Big Bang might have looked like in its very first instant of existence. I have always found it strange that the Big Bang is not the subject of religious devotion, and wanted to create icons that its devotees might worship.
